The two organizations will start their first venture in January called Florida Hospital Care Advantage. This new pilot will bring about more local insurance options and plans to reduce costs. Both organizations will assist each other in the future changes to Medicare and Medicaid payments. The pilot will start in Volusia and Flagler counties, aiming to spread state wide with its success.

Another alliance that is forming is between Orlando Health and Walgreens. They aim to provide better care coordination for medical services using Walgreens’ clinics.
