Fitness do’s and don’ts from the self-proclaimed Queen of weight loss… but I still like her :)

Jillian Michaels is a well known trainer personality.  Love her or leave her… she knows her stuff!  She has a few words to live by that I can’t help to agree with.  I’ve been recommending them for years!

Fitness Don’ts:

Don’t: Have a routine (Although I’m a big believer in group fitness because of the routine- shake it up once in a while!)

Don’t rely on machines (Your own body weight can sustain more than you think, & it’s great for us ladies!)

Fitness Do’s:

Do: Be educated.  🙂

Do: Use your body weight. 

Do: Have perspective. MOST IMPORTANT!

Overall I would recommend that it is imperative to stay connected with a network of resources to help you live a healthier lifestyle.  But at the same time, Rome was not built in a day- neither will your six pack!

Here’s my plug for the day- follow the HART incorporated blog, read other sites, find your own credible, get a trainer friend… whatever it takes to make you a little healthier every day 🙂
